Gear Advice: Garbage Bags

A couple of garbage bags in your pack can serve many purposes. If you do not have a pack cover, then one works in a pinch. Forgot your rain gear? Need to block the wind? Wet clothes in the pack? Trying to protect a down bag from getting wet? You can even use them to store garbage, but Zip lock’s are actually better for that.

I keep 2 or 3 in my pack, but mainly end up loaning them out to others who did not listen to my recommendations on rain gear.
