Gear Advice: Hiking Pants (Shorts)

Not everyone likes shorts, but if your body tends to run hot, shorts are nice to have. They should be loose enough so they don't bind, and pockets are nice to have as well. They should be made of a quick dry material.

I use the REI zipper pants and remove the legs when things warm up.
