A week of scuba training and adventure where you will earn certification from the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI).
Paperwork
_____  Completed Medical Exam Forms - Turn into trip leader prior to trip.
_____  Copy of Insurance Card - Photocopy of front and back of insurance card.
_____  Photo Identification - Government Issued showing proof of age.

Clothing
_____  Hat (Brim) - Wide brimmed best.
_____  Pants (Long) *
_____  Pants (Short) - 1 or 2 pair
_____  Rain Gear - Lightweight. *
_____  Shirt (Long Sleeve) *
_____  Shirt (Short Sleeve, Wicking ) - Several. One Hawaiian style shirt for Luau is optional as well.
_____  Shoes (lightweight) - non marking soles
_____  Socks - 2-3 Pair.
_____  Swim Suit - Trunks for boys, one piece for girls.
_____  Uniform - 1 set, Class A or B.

_____  Camera - Waterproof if possible. *

_____  Hammock - (With Bug net) *
_____  Jacket/Fleece *
_____  Open Water Diver Textbook
_____  Pillow (Small)
_____  SCUBA Gear (Personal) *
_____  Sleeping Bag - Sheet & warm blanket will work as well.
_____  Snorkel Gear (Personal) *
_____  Sun Glasses - With Strap, Polarized are best.
_____  Towel (Large) - Pack 2.
_____  Water Bottle - Large mouth, with plastic clip.
_____  Wetsuite - Can be rented or purchased from base. *

_____  Bonine - For seasickness.
_____  Gold Bond Powder - To prevent Chafing *
_____  Insect Repellent
_____  Money - $70-$100 (Crew Photos $5.50 each) *
_____  Prescription Medications *
_____  Skin So Soft Lotion *
_____  Sunscreen - 16 oz, Non-Oily, SPF 30 or better.
_____  Tampons/sanitary napkins  (females only)  *
_____  Toilet Kit
_____  Watch - Waterproof

* Make sure you can successfully pass the BSA Swim Test.
* Make sure your name is on the crew roster your leader is going to send.

Do not bring: Walkman/MP3 player, Fireworks, Skateboards, Dive Knives, or Gloves for diving
